Sergio Franchi (April 6, 1926–May 1, 1990) was an Italian-born actor, opera singer, and entertainer. Born in Codogno, Italy, Franchi was raised in a musical family and began singing at the age of four. He trained in opera and musical theater in Italy and later moved to the United States in 1948.

Sergio Franchi was an Italian-American tenor and actor who enjoyed success in the United States and internationally after gaining notice in Britain in the early 1960s. In 1962 RCA Victor signed him to a seven-year contract and in October of that year Franchi appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show and performed at Carnegie Hall.
He sang in the 1965 film The Great Race and recorded an album of show tunes from the movie. He also appeared on television variety shows and in films. In 1964 he hosted a variety series on CBS, The Sergio Franchi Show. He appeared as a guest star on numerous television programs, including The Dean Martin Show and The Muppet Show.
In the 1970s, he shifted his focus to concert performances and opera, performing with opera companies throughout the United States and Canada. He also performed in Europe and Australia. He continued to appear in films and television until his death in 1990.
